On the Internet you have to really sift through the home business opportunities that are presented. Right now everyone wants to make a million and do it with a click of their mouse. Sitting back and watching the dollars roll in for 2 hours work sounds like a really terrific plan, but unless you are a professional marketer, copywriter, or author it probably is not going to be that simple. I am not saying that you can't make money on the Internet. Many have. What I am saying is there is a learning process and it can take a lot of time and trials before you reach the point that you are making good money doing it.


What can you do while you wait for your riches to find you? You probably still have to eat. How about a real home based business? There are many benefits to having a service business that you run from home. When you work from home you can deduct expenses involved in that business reducing your tax burden, meaning you pocket more of your earnings. Pocketing more of your earnings through tax breaks is a strategy that all of the big companies do. There is also the ability to have a flexible schedule. It gives you the ability to be able to do things around the house when you have a slow business day.

This is not to say that you should treat your business with anything less than a professional mindset. Flexibility and higher earnings should not make you casual in your thinking about your work.
